Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Go Interview at gointerview.app ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Go Interview is an interview tracking and performance management platform. The Service allows users to track interview pipelines, record interview outcomes, receive AI-powered performance reviews, and analyze interview trends.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and our Acceptable Use Policy. You may not use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the Service
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including interview notes, company information, and performance data ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and will not use it for purposes other than providing the Service.

Recorded Interviews and Consent

If you upload audio recordings, video recordings, or transcripts of interviews or other conversations, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents and permissions from all participants as required by applicable law.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any recordings comply with federal, state, and international laws governing recording, privacy, and data protection. Go Interview does not verify whether such consent has been obtained and assumes no responsibility for unlawful recordings uploaded to the Service.

Confidential Information

You should not upload confidential or proprietary information belonging to current or prospective employers, including but not limited to trade secrets, internal processes, compensation data of other employees, or any information subject to a non-disclosure agreement, unless you have explicit authorization to do so. Go Interview is not responsible for any breach of confidentiality obligations resulting from your use of the Service.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Go Interview, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your Content, including but not limited to claims relating to unauthorized recordings or violations of privacy laws
  • Your use or misuse of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or confidentiality rights

7. Content Removal and Takedown

If you believe that content on the Service infringes your intellectual property rights or violates your privacy, you may submit a takedown request to abuse@gointerview.app. Your request should include:

  • A description of the content you believe should be removed
  • The basis for your request (e.g., copyright infringement, unauthorized recording, privacy violation)
  • Your contact information
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the content should be removed

We will review takedown requests promptly and take appropriate action, which may include removing the content and notifying the account holder.

8. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your data at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at privacy@gointerview.app.

Upon account deletion, we will permanently delete all Your Content, including interview data, recordings, transcripts, reviews, and associated files. Deletion is irreversible. We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. By subscribing:

  • You authorize us to charge the payment method on file for recurring subscription fees.
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe billing portal.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

10. AI-Generated Content

The Service may provide AI-generated reviews and insights based on the data you provide. This content is for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional career advice. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Go Interview and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the Service as intended.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Go Interview shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and your data will be deleted in accordance with Section 8.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
